Let’s face it, we’ve all had to go through a time in our life where we were willing to try just about anything to lose weight and become healthy. The fact of the matter is that diet pills don’t work. Even after telling ourselves that they really do work, but we just need to try harder, is all. If only we knew beforehand, we wouldn’t have wasted time with all of those lies. Here’s what many people are not aware of.
Diet Pills Don’t Work
The fact is that most diet pills don’t target fat only water. When you lose weight what you are doing is making yourself dehydrated. It can lead to a number of problems like kidney or even liver failure.
Before buying something, always make sure to read the small print on the box. Just like with most pharmaceutical pills out there, diet pills have really horrible symptoms. let’s take a look and see what they are –
”Pulmonary hypertension, a rare and potentially fatal disorder due to high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs, valvular disease of the heart, elevated blood pressure, increased pulse and heart rate, restlessness, dizziness, insomnia, dry mouth, and constipation.” – RX List
Wow, sounds fun, right? Except it really, really isn’t.
Here is another problem: Most people will regain some or all of the weight they lost when they stop using weight loss drugs unless efforts are made to retain their weight loss with diet and exercise.
Was it worth it? In my experience, not even a little. I dropped around 15-20 pounds once with Belviq and some other cheap brand, but as soon as I stopped taking the pills (note I also did exercise at the time), the weight started piling back up.
Can you say, “ICK!”?
It was so annoying, because you’re thinking to yourself, “YES, I am actually losing weight.” but you also have constant diarrhea and sweating like a little piggy.
Please for the love of all that is adorable (like kitties) don’t ruin your health when you still have such a long life ahead of you. Let’s repeat what we learned today: Diet pills don’t work!
Ok, so what is next? The only true way to get rid of your excess weight is by…get this… diet and exercising! YAY! Isn’t that fantastic?
You are not going to get slim until you set a goal for yourself and follow it through until you succeed. Actually, believe it or not, that’s how life generally works with most things!
The big secret is that there is no secret. It’s all just hard work and the determination to get there. It’s rather generic, but we have been lied to all of these years.
The media loves to show the end result: swimsuit models. They never talk about the amount of work it took to get there.
Having a desire to be fit and healthy is not enough. You must take action. Once again, say it with me: Diet pills don’t work!
That is all, folks. 🙂
